Hours Permanent Part Time (20 Hours p/w - 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday to Friday)

 

Commencement date 24th February 2020 (handover with departing Admin Officer during half term w/b 17th February - dates/times are flexible)

 

Luckington Community School is an exciting and dynamic primary school, set in rural North Wiltshire. We are incredibly proud of the progress our children make and the enriching opportunities we provide them with. The Governors are seeking to appoint a Finance and Administrative Officer to join our strong, friendly and motivated staff team.

 

We currently have two classes, one is EYFS/KS1 and the other is KS2. At present, the KS2 class is split into Y3/4 and Y5/6 for maths and English in the mornings.

 

We are looking to appoint an Administration Officer who will manage the school’s finance, HR and site systems and staff.

 

Luckington Community School is a happy and positive school and we are looking to recruit someone who would fit well in this environment. We have a caring, family atmosphere and we strive to support our children and families in any way we can.

The successful candidate should have:

  • a good standard of general education with very strong IT skills
  • previous admin experience, ideally from working in a school office
  • an organised approach to their work and enjoy a varied workload, prioritising their work accordingly
  • the ability to deal calmly and efficiently with a wide range of situations
  • ability to work under pressure in a friendly and professional manner, dealing with pupils, staff, parents, visitors and members of the public appropriately
  • experience managing budgets, financial reporting, procurement and fixed assets.
