Our aim in music is to ensure that all children develop interest and enjoyment in music.

The benefits of music are great. It is not only an enjoyable pass time (or perhaps career!), but it can also be a very sociable interest, mentally stimulating and at other times relaxing. It is important to us that our children are able to experience music in all shapes and forms.

Each week the children take part in a music lesson and singing lesson in school. We also access the Wiltshire Music service so many of our children receive individual instrumental lessons. To bolster this further we take up every enrichment opportunity we can; whether that's the school choir, a trip to Young Voices or an opera workshop, there's always something musical going on!
