It is very important that the children of Luckington are able to build a picture of their place in the world and how other people and places differ. The aim of our RE curriculum is to ensure that all children develop a strong understanding, compassion and tolerance towards other cultures around the UK and the world.

Although we are not a church school, we have a set of values that we teach the children about. We teach RE weekly, looking at different religions around the world; focusing on the key themes that run through them all, but particularly how our school values link to them. To ensure that we provide the children with the correct information and balance, we use a scheme of work called Discovery RE.
